Susan T. (Suki) Sommer Society

Who was Suki Sommer?

 

Upon the suggestion of former MLA president Michael Rogan, MLA’s legacy society has been renamed to honor Susan (Suki) Thiemann Sommer. The Board voted unanimously to make the change so that her memory would be honored and continue to support MLA. Her friend Michael Ochs wrote a tribute to Sommer that appeared in issue 152 of the MLA Newsletter.

She was a beloved friend, colleague, member, and supporter of MLA for many years. Maureen Buja took this photo in 2008:
