Abstract
Reference Sources Subcommittee members will present "lightning round" reports on music reference and research tools focused on Latin American music and Latin American studies. We will include tools in print (such as the Diccionario de la música Española e hispanoamericana) and online subject guides (such as the Latin American Network Information Center, http://lanic.utexas.edu/) as well as online databases and primary source repositories. Highlighting national libraries and information centers in the region is a goal. After the lightning rounds, we will open up the presentation to audience members to encourage dialog on Pan-American music collections with our colleagues from the region.
