MLA's many projects and activities are possible only through the efforts of many dedicated volunteers. From conference presenters and committee members to the Board of Directors, hundreds of members volunteer their time to ensure that MLA remains dynamic and relevant to our members and to the larger music community.
Would you like to become involved in these efforts? Please consider joining a committee, coordinating a round table, or writing for the Newsletter or Notes.
Positions for Special Officers will be advertised in our Job List, while nominations for members of the Board of Directors will be solicited from the membership.
For further information on a group, please contact the chair or coordinator. In order to serve, you must be a member in good standing. Most appointments happen at or shortly after the Annual Meeting.
Similar opportunities exist within MLA's regional chapters and in IAML.
