The 86th annual meeting of the Music Library Association in Orlando, FL (February 22-26, 2017) will be the first ever Pan-American Regional IAML meeting, held in collaboration with CAML, the Canadian National Branch of IAML. Our invitation to our Latin American colleagues can be found here.
The MLA Program Committee invites MLA members as well as our Canadian and Latin American colleagues to propose program content until Friday June 3, 2016. Non-MLA members should collaborate with MLA members or committees to develop and submit proposals. We encourage proposals that are topically related to, as well as practically relevant for music libraries and staff in countries in the Americas.
Strongly discouraged are live Skype or other video conference presentations. If a presenter cannot attend the conference, the presentation should be pre-recorded as a video. Remote presenters may be teleconferenced in for the Q&A portion of the presentation.
Submissions for the program (member-proposed, committee or round table sponsored, plenary, and poster sessions) should be submitted through the following form:
Your name will automatically be associated with your proposal due to the need to log in with your MLA username and password.
Honoraria or travel expenses may be requested for non-MLA plenary session speakers. If requesting honoraria or travel expenses, you will be required to provide justification. If requesting travel expenses, you will be required to provide an estimated cost of anticipated expenses.
A separate call for business meeting requests will be issued in the future.
Please contact me with any questions.
