Information for Exhibitors

You are warmly invited to participate in the 86th annual meeting of the Music Library Association at the Rosen Plaza in Orlando, Florida on February 22-26, 2017. We are very excited as the U.S. National Branch of IAML [the International Association of Music Libraries, Archives, and Documentation Centres] in collaboration with CAML, the Canadian National Branch of IAML, to be inviting our Latin American colleagues to join us in the first ever Pan-American Regional IAML meeting.

We expect approximately 450 music librarians with direct responsibility for administering budgets, selecting materials, and recommending equipment or furniture purchases for their libraries. This is the largest annual gathering of music librarians in North America and is a unique opportunity for attendees to network, share knowledge, and explore new directions in music librarianship.

If you prefer to send payment by mail, use the "Bill Me" option that allows you to print your registration form and send it to the MLA Business Office with your check. Ads and tables are sold on a first-come, first-served basis, so don't delay!

MLA is not offering conference bags this year, so there will be no inserts available for purchase.


Website Advertisements

Opportunities to advertise on the conference website are available to all exhibitors on a first-come, first-served basis.
Ad placement possibilities include:

  1. the footer of the homepage
  2. the right column of all Program pages (landing page and subpages)
  3. the right column of all Pre-MLA Event pages (landing page and subpages), and
  4. the right column of the Orlando pages (landing page and subpages)
  5. the right column of the About and Register pages. 

Prices range from $200-$250/month depending on placement.

Sponsorship is available for a variety of activities during the Music Library Association conference in Orlando.
The following are some sample activities that can be sponsored and their approximate costs:

  • Conference program booklet printing: $2,500
  • Conference speaker honoraria: $2,500
  • MLA Big Band support (instrument rental / moving): $2,500
  • Opening or closing reception drink tickets: c. $3,000 (subject to final billing)
  • Coffee/soda/snack break (multiple available): $5,000 each
  • Opening or closing reception food: $15,000
  • Wi-Fi access for meeting spaces: $20,000

We welcome ideas for sponsorships beyond these specific activities as well as unrestricted donations; we also welcome partial sponsorships of the above events. Sponsors are recognized in the conference program booklet, in Guidebook (the virtual program booklet), and on placards at sponsored events.
