You are warmly invited to participate in the 85th annual meeting of the Music Library Association at the Hilton Cincinnati Netherland Plaza Hotel in Cincinnati, OH March 2-5, 2016. We expect approximately 450 music librarians with direct responsibility for administering budgets, selecting materials, and recommending equipment or furniture purchases for their libraries. This is the largest annual gathering of music librarians in North America and is a unique opportunity for attendees to network, share knowledge, and explore new directions in music librarianship.

If you prefer to send payment by mail, use the “Bill me” option that allows you to print your registration form and send it to the MLA Business Office with your check. Ads and tables are sold on a first-come, first-served basis, so don't delay!

Website and Guidebook Advertisements
Opportunities to advertise on the conference website are available to all exhibitors on a first-come, first-served basis.
Ad placement possibilities include:
- the footer of the homepage
- the right column of all program pages (landing page and subpages)
- the right column of all Cincinnati pages (landing page and subpages), and
- the right column of the About and Register pages.
Prices range from $150-$200/month depending on placement.
Online advertising CANNOT be purchased through the online form. To purchase ads for the conference website or for additional Guidebook advertising options, please contact the MLA Advertising Manager, Scott Stone, directly (firstname.lastname@example.org). At last year’s meeting in Denver, upwards of 90% of attendees (members and exhibitors) used our Guidebook app!.
Sponsorship is available for a variety of activities during the Music Library Association conference in Cincinnati.
The following are some sample activities that can be sponsored and their approximate costs:
- Opening or closing reception food: $15,000
- Coffee / soda / snack break (multiple available): $5,000 each
- Conference program booklet printing: $2,500
- Conference speaker honoraria: $2,500
- Lanyards: $2,500
- Conference tote bags: $2,500
- MLA Big Band support (instrument rental / moving): $2,500
We welcome ideas for sponsorships beyond these specific activities as well as unrestricted donations; we also welcome partial sponsorships of the above events. Sponsors are recognized in the conference program booklet, in Guidebook (the virtual program booklet), and on placards at sponsored events.
