The purpose of the Newsletter is to keep the membership of the Association abreast of events, ideas, and trends related to music librarianship. All communications and articles are welcome.  To submit an article for review, you must register for an account on the Newsletter platform. Address correspondence, including questions, to the Editor.

The Newsletter is published four times a year, September–October, November–December, March–April, and May–June by the Music Library Association, Inc., and is issued to its members for free.

About MLA

The Music Library Association is the professional association for music libraries and librarianship in the United States. Founded in 1931, it has an international membership of librarians, musicians, scholars, educators, and members of the book and music trades. Complementing the Association’s national and international activities are eleven regional chapters that carry out its programs on the local level.
