Information Sharing Subcommittee

(Reference and Public Services)

Purpose:
To develop methods by which information about techniques, methods, developments, etc., in the fields of public and reference services in music can be shared with all interested music librarians and others interested in the field; to investigate any and all methods of information sharing in order to advise the other members of the committee and others in the profession about the most appropriate means of disseminating information to music librarians; to develop a system of current awareness in the public services for music librarians; and to coordinate the public awareness efforts of the other members of the Committee and the various subcommittees.
