Welcome to the web site of the Music Library Association. Founded in 1931, MLA provides a forum for issues surrounding music, music in libraries, and music librarianship. Our members include music librarians, librarians who work with music as part of their responsibilities, composers and music scholars, and others interested in the program of the association.
