The last round of votes to our merger journey is now complete. The electronic polls for MLA members closed on March 18 and the votes for the constitutional amendment to accommodate the merger of IAML-US and MLA (MLA’s By-Laws Articles I; III.D; III.F.4; and IV.E.1) passed with a wide margin. 97.5% voted for the constitutional amendment with 349 votes, there was one negative vote and 8 people abstained.
MLA is currently working with its attorney to file the appropriate legal papers to finalize this merger.
