- Sent to LC in April 1997
- Discussed at MARBI meeting June 1997; proposal stage authorized
- Proposal approved by MARBI January 1998
- Approved by LC in February 1998
- Should be published as part of MARC 21 (Spring 1999)
- Actual implementation date not yet announced
