The subcommittee continues to look into the feasibility of constructing a
user study on subject access to music and to look into headings for folk songs and
problems and inconsistencies in their cross references. We are also exploring the
sponsorship of a SACO workshop to be held as a
pre-conference to an annual meeting.
As MLA liaison, Michael Colby attended the ALA/ALCTS Subject Analysis Committee meetings
in January and June of 1999.
