MARBI report (Cathy Gerhart): Cathy reported on various proposals and discussion papers under review by MARBI.

The complete draft for constituency review will begin in early Aug. 2008. Following this review, the text will be finalized for the first release of RDA at the JSC meeting in Nov. 2008.
Form/genre headings (Kelly McGrath for Janis Young): CPSO has submitted a report to the LC general managers. Currently creating genre/form headings for radio programs. Still under discussion, what to do about performances.
DVD Guide Revision and Update Task Force (Carolyn Walden): The task force hopes to have a final version out by Sept. The group is currently working on the 1st draft.
Playaways Best Practices Task Force (H. Frank): The group recently sent the latest draft to CAPC members. The task force is waiting on comments from CAPC members and the Music Library Association Bibliographic Control Committee.
There were various brief reports from other subcommittees and task forces.
