The open meeting of the Subject Access Subcommittee was held on February 26, 2000 at the
annual MLA meeting in Louisville, Kentucky. The following presentations were heard:

Folk Music: The Definition Wars Continue (Drew Beisswenger, Southwest Missouri State
University)
Subject Metadata in the Metadata Record (Lois Mai Chan, University of Kentucky)
